Build, Support, Transfer
Our delivery framework, developed jointly with Master Power Technologies, addresses the pattern in which a client completes a major infrastructure programme owning the asset but without the capability to operate it.
Because the facility and the compute are designed together, one team can commit to the operating outcome and to the date on which the client assumes control.
It answers the question a client asks last and worries about most: what happens after you leave.
The three phases
The framework runs in three phases.
| PHASE | WHAT IT COVERS |
|---|---|
| BuildIntegrated architecture | The facility. Resilient power engineering and advanced thermal engineering, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling where density requires it. The compute. Compute architecture and high-performance network fabric, designed at the same time as the facility so that no retrofit is required. |
| SupportOperational excellence | Physical monitoring. Predictive monitoring of power, cooling and security through the AIVA analytics platform operated by Master Power Technologies. Workload operations. AI operations against a target GPU utilisation range, so that the return on the most expensive assets in the facility is measurable. |
| TransferSovereign capability | Facility management. Structured training of the client's facilities teams on the plant, the monitoring systems and the maintenance regime. Cluster administration. Training of the client's engineers on cluster administration, scheduling and platform operations through to full operational control. |
Build covers two designs taken together.
Master Power Technologies designs and builds the physical facility, covering power, cooling, containment, security and certification. We design and operate the compute within it. The two designs are executed concurrently, which prevents the retrofits that follow when infrastructure and IT decisions are taken separately.
The Support phase: operating the estate
Operating the estate on the client’s behalf: predictive monitoring of power, cooling and security; AI operations against a target GPU utilisation range; and one escalation path covering the generator, the plant, the racks, the fabric and the workload.
Physical monitoring
Predictive monitoring of power, cooling and security through the AIVA analytics platform operated by Master Power Technologies.
Master Power Technologies designs and builds the physical facility, covering power, cooling, containment, security and certification.
AIVA infrastructure analytics sits in Master Power Technologies’ column of the division of labour; skills transfer and handover sit in ours.
Workload operations
AI operations against a target GPU utilisation range, so that the return on the most expensive assets in the facility is measurable.
High-performance interconnect and storage architecture sized to keep accelerators supplied with data, because an idle GPU is the most expensive thing in the facility.
We operate against a target GPU utilisation range, so that the return on the estate is measurable.
Capacity and utilisation reporting
Consumption measured per tenant and per workload, with self-service provisioning so that research teams and business units draw capacity without a ticket queue.
Usage metering and chargeback · Capacity and utilisation reporting
Single pane of glass
One operational picture and one escalation path covering the generator, the plant, the racks, the fabric and the workload.
For the client this produces one accountable team across the whole envelope: the building, the plant, the racks, the fabric, the platform and the workload.
Every workstream carries one accountable executive on our side and one counterpart in the client organisation.
Who is accountable

Escalation on any commercial matter is owned inside the commercial and relationship workstream:
The agreement, the pricing structure, the service levels and the executive relationship, including escalation on any commercial matter.

Transfer is a contracted phase
It carries milestones, named client personnel and a defined completion test.
Facility management. Structured training of the client’s facilities teams on the plant, the monitoring systems and the maintenance regime.
Cluster administration. Training of the client’s engineers on cluster administration, scheduling and platform operations through to full operational control.
Dated completion. A named date on which the client assumes control, agreed at contract rather than negotiated at the end.
Skills transfer is written into the programme plan from the outset, not offered at the end of it.
Systems are designed around the teams who will operate them.
The envelope: from the generator to the workload
For the client this produces one accountable team across the whole envelope: the building, the plant, the racks, the fabric, the platform and the workload.
| Master Power Technologies | Compound Bridge |
|---|---|
| Turnkey data centre build | GPU cluster architecture |
| UPS and standby generation | Network fabric and storage |
| DX, adiabatic and liquid cooling | Sovereign cloud platform |
| Containment, security and fire | AI software stack and operations |
| Uptime Institute certification | Financing and structuring |
| AIVA infrastructure analytics | Skills transfer and handover |
Partner relationships are formalised under executed agreements. Reference calls with any named partner are available on request.
What the standards require of the operating estate
We work to these frameworks in our own operations and design every client programme against them from the outset, so certification is achievable rather than retrofitted.
The rows that bear on running the estate:
| STANDARD OR REGIME | WHERE IT SITS | WHAT COMPOUND BRIDGE DOES |
|---|---|---|
| ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701 | Programme and platform layer. Certification in progress | We operate to these frameworks today and are working towards certification. Client programmes are designed against the controls from day one. |
| Uptime Institute Tier certification | Facility layer | Design and constructed-facility certification specified as a contractual deliverable on every build. |
| ICT governance and standard operating procedures | Programme layer, Compound Bridge | Delivery governance, information security policies and standard operating procedures written to ISO/IEC 27001 practice and handed over with the estate. |
Our undertaking — Where a certification is held by a party in the programme, the scope statement and audit report are supplied before signature.
